HOW TO MAKE TALO

My reading group have been learning about how to cook talo or taro. Here is how to cook talo.

Musuem Recount

Yesterday we went to the museum when we got there we had our morning tea.

Then we went into the museum but first we had to be into teams. I was with ava’s mom. We had frozen fanterr. It was so yummy.

Then we went into the museum. My favourite part was when the house was shaking it was fun. It was shaking because it was near a volcano. And it was fun playing at the Museum.

My Birthday Yesterday

Yesterday was my birthday. My mum brought me a cake. I was on the september the 21st 2003.  

It was chocolate cake. The icing was chocolate it was big and it was round like a circle. It had pictures on it said  happy 21st birthday Damien and there was an picture of me on the cake .

After the cake I played Grand theft auto 5. It was cool. You can choose these player out of Franklin,Mike,Trevor. I had a great birthday.

CYBER SMART

CYBER SMART

Means you can be clever with technology and it was made by Mr Burt. It was made to help us to do the right thing on our netbooks.

The first part is use my brain. Use my brain means I have to listen to myself when my head tells me what to do. If I’m about to play a  game and my brain says “is that the right thing?” I will listen to my brain and stop doing the wrong thing.

Use my heart means listen to how I feel. When I’m doing something bad I get into trouble.Use my brain, use my heart, I’m gonna be cybersmart.

When the Boat Sank

First it was a lovely day. Then suddenly it started raining when we were in the boat .We had caught two fish.It was raining  so hard we went home .When we got home I had a shower .Then we drove from Point England beach to Maraetai. When we got there we went for  another ride. Luckily we could hear some thunder from the sky. It was so loud.Then we went back to shore and went home.

The endeavour

Captain cook was sailing on the Endeavour it took him 3 years to find New Zealand. Endeavour. Took 32 crew it took coal and there was 12 sales and he was first palagi to find new zealand.

why I use my wits

If  some boys were having a fight with me I would walk away and ignore them. If they kept fighting me I would ask them why they are fighting me and ask them to stop. Next I would go and tell the teacher or tell my parents.

Persuasive writing

No we should not have school Monday to Thursday and Friday be part of the weekend. In my opinion we should stay at school to get better at everything, like reading, writing and math. If we only come to school from Monday to Thursday we are not learning very much and may not get good jobs when we leave school. I think this because our teachers can help us learn and show us how to be better at things.

Is it easy to say sorry?

Today we learned about a story in the bible.It was Onesimus  philemon and paul.Onesimus stole from philemon and paul.Paul wrote a letter to philemon on behalf of Onesimus.Onesimus returned back to Colossae and said sorry.

I think that it's easy to say sorry because...it,s the right thing to do

My Triathlon

Last week on Wednesday for our triathlon. Our first step was the biking. Well, the people that was riding the bike thay rode around the field. Then we were running and doing sliding on the water slide. It was the best. I hope me and my friends had a good time together. When we finished we had to go back to class and set on the mat and wait for the teacher to tell as what we done. The best part about triathlon was biking and I thought that the people that was sliding the people who was sliding said they had a good time at triathlon.
