This Story is about himself getting down slowly and carefully without anything happening to him. But before you're going down you have to make sure that you’ve put the rope on properly and also everything feels right and carefully for you to go down alright. When he got half way down he knew he was going to be alright so he wouldn't be panicking or asking other people for help. Then finally he had got himself down the ground very slowly and calmly.

When he had got down he felt very happy. And then he was so delighted that he is was free to go and find some sticks and rocks to make his fire. After the fire was lighted he was dreaming that his parents are sitting next to him but they weren't.

My Immersion Assembly

           Survivor Immersion Assembly/ Term4

On Monday the 12th of October we had an Assembly. When we walked into the hall some of the teacher's class was already in the hall waiting for the rest of the other classes to come. Then when everybody came we started assembly then we all had to watch Mr Burt,s video the people that was acting on the video were Jaylen,Ana and Jordan. In the video they were eating KFC then when it finished the other team’s teachers had their turn talking  before they've had to play the movie. When it finished we all came back to class.

But before we had to watch the video the prefects had to do the mihi and the karakia. After the mihi and the karakia finished it was time for team 1 teachers to come up and present. Then when team 2 came up miss Berry was dressed up in Barney and the other teacher was something else.

Damien My Holiday Highlight Term 4

I am standing trying to steal the money. Then I ran away with the money and went to the shops to buy some hot chips. In the holidays I went to my cousins to play games while my mum helped my Aunty get ready for an party.

I got to Play gta 5 with my cousin. I had to jump in the car, drive around and do missions. The mission was to kill people and drown them into the bucket of water. When I completed the mission you get to do anything ouse.

While we were playing my Mum was helping my aunty to organise party packs. The party packs have party poppers, balloons, lollies, chocolate, drinks and cakes in them. There were heaps of people coming so they had to make heaps of party packs.

When it finished we all went home.

Explaining My Event

We have been learning to write an explanation. I have written one about an event that I made up. Here it is.


Basketball hoop is an made up game. It was made up by Damien Puri  in Auckland in 2014. How you win is by stepping with the ball and dribbling the ball and shooting it in the goal.

You will need a basketball hoop and a basketball to play. They are going to play at the Point England School hall. The hall is a basketball sized court made from wood.

The team is made up of 10 players. There are 3 defence, 3 attack and 4 mids who defend and attack. The rules are no fouling that means you cannot slap the ball out of someone elses’ hands. If the ball goes out of the court then it is the other teams ball. The ref does an throw up to start the game and an player from each team smacks the ball towards their own team.
