The countries fighting in World War 2 were Germany, Italy and Japan verses Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, India, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, USSR, Yugoslavia and others. This morning we had assembled at our school to remember who died in World War 1. We had it because it happened 100 hundred years ago. At assembly we had to watch videos about World War 1 while Mr Burt talked about what happened. We watched the flag go up half way and watched it go back down.
